Abstract

The holding of a Population Census is mandated by Law No. 16 of 1997 which is carried out at least once in 10 years. The most recent Population Census carried out was the 2020 Population Census (SP2020) which was carried out in two stages, namely complete data collection to be carried out in 2020 and sample data collection in 2022 (Long Form SP2020). Sampling data collection aims to collect data related to demographic parameters (births, migration, and deaths), education, disability, employment, housing, and other important information. Dissemination of the results of SP2020 was carried out in January 2021, while the results of the Long Form SP2020 are scheduled to be released simultaneously on January 23, 2023
